Dog ownership isn't always a walk in the park. We love our furry companions, but when communication breaks down, life can become confusing and stressful for everyone involved. My goal is to bridge that gap. I help you understand your dog better so they can understand you—creating a partnership built on mutual respect and lasting, positive change.

My background and credentials
My fascination with the canine-human bond began early; by age 13, I was already aspiring to be a "dog psychiatrist." This ambition took a practical turn at 17 when I applied the principles of Behaviourism from my Psychology studies to our rescue Staffie, Lady. By using positive reinforcement where traditional methods had failed, I successfully transformed her recall—and cemented my career path.
Since earning my degree in Animal Behaviour, I have dedicated my career to refining my skills as a behaviorist and trainer. My experience spans rescue shelter volunteering to professional roles at Birmingham’s "Pawfect Dogsense.", receiving mentoring from the esteemed Hannah Molloy. I have worked with a vast array of breeds and temperaments, addressing complex issues such as lead reactivity and aggression, people anxiety (in and out of the house), resource guarding etc. I’ve also trained and worked with more puppies than I can count!
As a science-based trainer, I believe in bridging the communication gap through evidence-based methods rather than fear or "dominance." I am currently pursuing further accreditation with the School of Canine Science to ensure my clients receive the most up-to-date, ethical support available. My credentials also include completing courses through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) as well as attending a variety of workshops.
Even now, I continue to test my skills at home with my seven-year-old Greyhound—proving that with the right approach, even the most independent breeds can find focus and joy in training. And we’ve added a labrador puppy, 5 month old Sweep to our home - I’m excited to see how far I can take this working breed!
